I remember someone once pointed out that a flaw with the LightFantasy style (the forum default for EDH) is the fixed width nature. I was reminded of this when someone asked me to make the Minimal style dynamic width, so I tried doing the same for the LightFantasy style. Unfortunately, it's not easily done because of the way LF uses background images... but I did manage to adjust the theme to a more modern width (~ 1024 instead of ~768). It's now active under the name "EDH."

If anyone could test it out and let me know how it looks, and if there's any glitches (esp under Safari, Chrome and/or IE... I've tested it on Opera and FF) that'd be great. It should be fine below 1024 screen width (for older browsers/screens)... even at 800x600 resolution the right hand side is a bit cropped, but menus, forum names and "recent posts" are visible.

I'm using at we speak. First thing that I notice is that the font is a bit weird now.

Whoa! There's a friggin' dragon at the top of the screen! I'm using it on Firefox, and it looks essentially the same as before, but, you know, wider. Oh, and that dragon I just mentioned. I'll continue using it and let you know if I notice anything weird.

Font looks the same for me.

No complaints here, really. I'm using Chrome, and not seeing any issues popping out at me. The wideness is rather nice.

Wow, this is so much better. I've gone from using 45% of my screen to 60% or something.

Chrome, because it's fast.

Damn, Genomancer, you've been busy!

This looks really nice on the two machines I've tried, both with IE. I was using its predecessor and wouldn't have thought of the upgrade myself, but having seen it, it's a nice update. Thanks!

The new "EDH" style has the same issue that LightFantasy used to have where quotes get lighter and lighter (though I noticed that you limited the number of embedded quotes to three). I don't care if you change it, but I remember some people really hated that.

Minor complaint with the EDH style: The link back up to the EDH official Rules vanished. Or maybe it was removed earlier. I dunno. It shows FAQ, UCP, MEMBERS, and SEARCH. No link back to RULES.

Good catch... should be fixed now.

Quoting box is now opaque again too.
